Stow Man ID'd As Body Pulled From Lake Authorities in Stow have identified a 70-year-old man who drowned in a lake on Saturday, Aug. 24. Frederick Dusseault, of Stow, was found around 11:30 a.m. in Lake Boon in Stow. Witnesses called police to report he had gone into the water, and they could not see him anymore, Stow firefighters said. A bystander tried to rescueDusseault but couldn't pull him from the water until firefighters arrived. Paramedics rushedhim to an area hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead later that day.

78-Year-Old Man ID'd As Pedestrian Killed In Wakefield Crash Police have identified the 78-year-old man who was hit and killed by a car pulling out of a driveway in Wakefield earlier this week. Joseph Dow, 78, of Wakefield, was hit on Wednesday, Aug. 21, by a2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E along Water Street, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said. Paramedics rushed Dow to Melrose/Wakefield Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. The driver, a 38-year-old woman, remained at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

82-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Car Crashes Into Him In Stoughton An 82-year-old man remained hospitalized after he was hit by a car in Stoughton on Thursday evening, Aug. 22, authorities said. A car crashed into the man just before 6:15 p.m. as he walked along Central Street, between Turnpike and Lincoln streets. Paramedics rushed the man to Boston Hospital, where he remained Friday.
