Pompey miss chance to extend lead
Top of League One
With Bolton and Peterborough in FA Cup action this weekend, Portsmouth had the opportunity to stretch their lead at the top of League One to five points - only to come unstuck at lowly Cheltenham.
Derby were the only other side in the top six to be in action today and moved closer to the top two with a 3-1 win at Fleetwood.

Big wins for Cheltenham and Exeter
Bottom of League One
Exeter are out of the relegation zone thanks to their win over Carlisle, who remain in the bottom four, while Cheltenham's win over Portsmouth boosts their survival hopes.
Fleetwood remain bottom after their home loss to Derby, and they are joined in the drop zone by Reading, who were not in action today.

Stockport still top as Stags slip up
Top of League Two
Mansfield missed the chance to go top of League Two, the Stags losing at home to Crewe, so Stockport remain as the leaders of League Two.
Barrow's win over Tranmere keeps them within touching distance of Wrexham in the third automatic promotion spot.

Forest Green off the bottom
Bottom of League Two
A crazy game at the bottom of League Two between Salford and Forest Green ended 2-2, leaving Troy Deeney's Rovers six points from safety but no longer at the foot of the EFL.
Sutton, who were in FA Cup action today, slip to the bottom of the table as a result of that draw.
Colchester snatched a point at Swindon in their first game under Danny Cowley and are six points above the relegation zone.

Bradley Ihionvien's 94th-minute equaliser earns Colchester a point in Danny Cowley's first game in charge.
He'll be delighted considering his team were 2-0 down shortly before the break.
But Matt Jay scored in first-half injury time and Ihionvien's late goal means they take a vital point in their battle at the bottom of the table.
