Kirkland Signature Basil Pesto sauce at Costco is a fan favorite, and that beautiful fresh green just calls to you when you walk by doesn’t it? Well, it calls to me at least!! I actually didn’t try it for a long time because I wondered what exactly I can actually make with THAT MUCH Costco Pesto Sauce? If you’re new to pesto, it is an easy shortcut to make tons of appetizers and meals! Basil is a versatile herb, it has tons of flavor but at the same time it’s not spicy, so even picky palettes often devour it (like my picky kiddo!)! I’ve got a list of great ways to use it all up for you…
While it’s pretty straightforward to make pesto fresh at home, to actually make it one needs fresh basil, garlic, parm and pine nuts (which many of us don’t keep on these on hand) and it requires a food processor (is it just me? I despise cleaning the million parts of the food processor!) and by the time it’s finished I still have to make the actual thing it’s going to go with….too much work for a weeknight for sure!
